there! It appears to me that a foot beagle refers to hunting beagles, and it seems that the term is generally used when referring to a group of beagles that hunt in packs.

Another person asked this question on a forum, and a responder said that foot beagles were bred for hunting.

An excerpt from the book "The Dogs of the British Isles" by J.H. Walsh lists a few of the breeding requirements of foot beagles.

I have found several websites of hunting clubs that use the name foot beagles, such as

the Isle of Wight Foot Beagles

I hope I helped a little bit!

Update:

Foot Beagles are smaller

Hound beagles are larger and used in hunting

Smaller darker one is the Foot Beagle, Lighter and larger one is the hound beagle

What is the difference between a harrier beagle and a beagle?

Well this is a really good question! :) Beagle Harrier is a little bit taller than a normal Beagle. Beagle Harrier is from France and Beagle is from England. Beagle Harrier needs more exercise than Beagle. Beagle needs more space to live in than Beagle Harrier. Both of them are really cute and faithful friends and designed for hunting.

What can you mix with a beagle?

Technically, it is possible to breed most, if not all breeds of dog with a beagle. However, popular 'fashion' hybrids at the moment include the 'Puggle' (Beagle x Pug), the 'Bagle Hound' (Beagle x Basset Hound), 'Be-Apso' (Beagle x Lhasa Apso), 'Bea-Tzu' (Beagle x Shi-Tzu), 'Bea Bull' (Beagle x Bulldog), and 'Bea Griffon' (Beagle x Brussels Griffon). More uncommon, but currently bred breeds include the 'Beaman' (Beagle x Doberman Pinscher), the 'Beaglier' (Beagle x Cavalier King Charles Spaniel), the 'Beago' (Beagle x Golden Retriever), the 'Bocker' (Beagle x Cocker Spaniel), the 'Bogle' (Beagle x Boxer) and the 'Boglen Terrier' (Beagle x Boston Terrier).
