Blue pitbull is just an ordinary pitbull in the blue color. Nothing strange or different than any other color.
Color does not affect the temperament of the pit.
However, blue pits .......like white pits do have some skin sensitivities. Owners should take care and speak with a vet about specific shampoos that would be mild and soothing for these particular colors of the breed. Using abrasive or strong deodorant cleansers will cause red patches on the skin and could lead to hair loss and excessive scratching. Also, any new pit owner should be aware of red mange. It is a genetic disorder passed on at birth and all new puppies should be tested by a vet to determine if your litter has it. A pit with red mange can still live a happy life, but a seller will not get top dollar for the pit, nor will it be able to be placed in shows.
