There is no particular name for a tailless cat, other than the breed name for those that have no tails. The American Bobtail and the Manx are the most common tailless breeds.
A tailess aircraft will almost always have a 'canard' system. This is almost the same flying technique.
The MANX Cat. It is a naturally tailess cat. The tail has NOT been docked/cut off. How it has come to be tailess , I cannot say. Probably a genetic aberration. Anything relating to the Isle of Man uses the adjective ' MANX'. Note the spelling. NB This word does NOT refer to inhabitants of Manchester, England; they are described as 'Mancunians'.

Amphibians without tails are frogs. Frogs make up 90% of amphibian species. Frogs belong to the order Anura.
Genetics. Inside (almost) every cell of the mouse's body, is the full DNA blueprint for a complete mouse. A surgical procedure will not rewrite the mouse's DNA, when it reproduces, the offspring will have a tail, as instructed by its own DNA.
