The Dama gazelle, also known as the Darcas gazelle, has adapted to its arid desert habitat through several key features. Its slender body and long legs allow for efficient movement across vast, open spaces while minimizing energy expenditure. Additionally, the Dama gazelle has developed the ability to survive on minimal water, deriving moisture from the vegetation it consumes. Its social structure and behavior, including forming small groups, also enhance its chances of avoiding predators.
