Catnip, also called catnep, cat wort, and cat mint, is a plant, usually sold as the dried leaves of the plant. The leaves and stems of the plant contain a compound called nepetalactone, which intoxicates many cats. It is given to a cat because cats seem to enjoy the effect it has on them, and because humans seem to enjoy watching the cat's antics when the cat is "high".
by giving them a nos! NO just joking! give them cat nip! ;)
there is no caterpillars that eat cat nip, all caterpillars will see what it is by taking a nibble but no caterpillar eats cat nip
Cat nip is just a type of grass that appeals to cats! You can purchase the actual plant in Gardening sections of stores. The more common kind of cat nip is dried out and packaged. Cat nip is not bad for cats, that I know of! Hope your cats enjoy it!
Type your cat nip
put it in its food or treat.
put cat nip on the floor
It is like this you have cat nip but change it to dragon nip
They freak out. They freak out.
Alot of people use cat nip to bribe their cats or lure them somewhere. I have a cat that loves cat nip and it usually works when you have ALOT of it. You can buy them at Walmart's, Target, Petsmart, and many others. I hope this helped :)
Any pet store or supermarket.
Cats will not overdose on catnip. They know when to reject it, if they've had too much. What you are seeing is likely just the experience of it. We'd need to know more about it to give you a straight answer, though. Your cat is definitely gonna act strange while s/he is high on cat nip. She may just rub up against it, flop around, spaz out, or act generally goofy. She will attack and maul cat nip or cat nip toys, because bruising it is what causes the reaction in the plant that gets the cat high. Eating 'nip also acts as a sedative, so if she eats it, she may just curl up and sleep later. The effects of cat nip will usually only last for a couple minutes after the cat has finished with it. If you are concerned that your cat is not reacting well to catnip, simply take it away and give him/her time to calm down.
I use to work in a field of CAT NIP and learned that they use it in cat food, toy's for cat's ect... cat's love it.
