Strength usually means pulling power. The breed that can pull the most is the biggest breed also. The Clydesdale breeds. The Clydesdale also tires quickly. If you were to get a horse that was going to do heavy pulling all day it would have to be a Belgian.

I would say Przewalskis Horse (Mongolian wild horse) and Arabian Horse.

The mustang is a very hardy bunch too, as are the Chincotegue ponies. Actually, most ponies like the Chincotegues, the Shetland, etc. are very hardy, because they have evolved that way because of the conditions they have withstood.
