Answer 2:Actualy, there are no known relatives of the Chihuahua...When Spanish peoples traveled to the US they were going through Chihuahua, New Mexico and found an old run down town and many of these little dogs ran out to greet them...hence the dogs being named Chihuahua...No one knows where the little barkers came from, but they truly are great dogs... i have 5 of them :)The chihuahua was deveveloped from the Techichi, its early ancestor
