The weight of pumas varies by sex, health and diet, and where they live. They're smaller toward the equator, and get larger, on average, the further to the north or south the live.

Males range from about 115 lbs to as much as 260 lbs, and average around 145-160 lbs.

Females range from about 70 lbs to perhaps 140lbs.
