Manatee Fat
manatees are fat so they can keep warm
Yes.
Manatees eat only sea grass, which is why they are called seacows.
they have to have somthing to cover their big fat ugly faces
Manatees often swim alone, but it is not uncommon for them to form groups, especially when seeking areas of warm water. Groups of manatees are called aggregations or herds.
Manitie
calf
calf. The calf is also for cow. Remember manatees are also called sea cows so mabye there's where they got the name
they grow loads of flab until the get fat. posted by Dr Richard Haslock.
Sometimes they are known as sea coww becayse they are fat like cows and they live in the sea.
They get killed for their flesh for oil lamps. Manatees also get killed by the carelessness of humans speeding on their motor boats and accidentally hitting the manatees! Also, there is a disease called the Red Disease and that kills many manatees also!
Many animals including whales, seals, manatees and penguins have a thick layer of fat called blubber. Only marine animals have blubber (but not every marine animal). Blubber provides buoyancy, hydrodynamic shape, and stores energy.
