The Brittany is no longer classified as a spaniel but it used to be. I have a female and after doing some research discovered that her characteristics are typical. She is very sweet and lovable. She loves to please. She loves to look in your eyes. She lays her head on my chest and gazes up at me. Brittanies are an active breed and she is satisfied with a daily walk but can skip it if the weather is bad. Brittanies are taller than cocker spaniels but more slender. They are medium sized about 32-40 lbs. They have excellent noses and love to run free. I walk her and make her heel but then set her loose in the park.
