The least common breed of cat is actually referred to as as sphinx. It is a hairless cat and are very sweet, but in my friend Katie's opinion kind of gross. These cats are referred to in old Egyptian tales involving mummies, tombs, etc.
It can be bred by two sphinxes, by an ordinary cat and sphinx, or in rare cases by two regular cats!
If anyone has info on how sphinxes actually came to be, please edit my answer.
mutt breed cats are most common but after that is the tabby cat

The color of a cat's eyes, specifically brown cat eyes, can help determine the breed of a cat because certain breeds are more likely to have specific eye colors. Brown eyes are common in many cat breeds, but some breeds are known for having distinct eye colors that can help identify their breed.
