Well this entirely depends upon the zoo that is keeping the cheetah. I realise this doesn't answer your question, but each zoo has different sized enclosures. Some cages are far too small for an animal that likes to run, some are much better.

According to the Big Cat rescue people, a minimum cage (inside enclosure) should be 10' x 24' with a vertical dimension of 8'.

Their outside area should be approx 1,200 sq ft. If you have more than one cheetah you need to add 50% more space.
