What is the value of the Arabian horse?

There is no average price for an Arabian horse, or any other horse for that matter. Multiple things can affect price, these include but are not limited to, Bloodlines/ pedigree, height, color, level of training, age, location, and the economy.

It really depends on where you are and what exactly you are looking to buy. A horse in its prime will be more than a younger or older one; show and performance horses are more expensive than ones used for pleasure riding. Black arabians are rare, so they will cost more. Horses from good bloodlines are also pretty pricey, as are Egyptian Arabians. When I was looking to buy a horse, I found an older Arab mare that was $2000. Check a breeder's website, and you will find figures in the five-digit range. It depends on a lot of different factors. There's not a set price range for Arabs. An excellent alternative to an arabian, if the cost is too high, is an Arab cross. Quarter horse-Arabian and Morgan-Arabian crosses produce wonderful animals that combine the best traits of both breeds.

I do believe the current record holder is the Polish Arabian mare Kwestura (by the stallion Monogramm.) who sold for 1,125,000 euros ($ 1,662,000 US dollars). She was sold while in foal to QS Marc (by Marwan Al Shaqab) at the Pride of Poland sale.

Arabians can be anywhere from free into the tens of thousands of dollars, sometimes even into the hundreds of thousands. It is rare for them to reach into the millions. So just like any breed of horse the price of an Arabian can vary widely.
