Rotties should be fed regular dog food or home-made food that includes meat, vegetables and grains. They should NEVER eat chocolate or any substances or plants that could poison them, such as antifreeze, warfarin (rat/mouse poison), water hemlock, etc.. They can and will eat anything, if they feel the need to do so, so you as the owner have to make sure what they're eating is right for them to eat and not something that's going to hurt or kill them.
