They do a range of movements, all called 'Airs Above The Ground'. One of these is a levade (lu-vard) which is when the horse lifts up his front legs and front part of his body and balances on his hind legs. Another is called a Courbette (cor-bett) when they rear up and jump on the spot. Capriole (pretty much cap-ree-ole) where they leap up in the air and kick out in mid air.

Other movements are also included in this MAGNIFICENT performance such as;

  • piaffe
  • pasage
  • canter pirouette
  • lots more!!

I hope this helped! Cheers!
