I would personally recomend getting a pet turtle, but this is my oppinion. I have a baby freshwater short-neck turtle and she is so adorable and intelligent. She amuses me all the time with her wild antics and playful temperament. Turtles make great pets and don't require too much looking after. I also think that tortoises grow faster and bigger.
