well in most pet shops they get up and over 20 - 30 $

But people like myself who breed them at home sell them for 10 $ and under.

I got my guinea pig at petco. Where I live petco sells boy guinea pigs and petsmart sells girl guinea pigs. That might just be where I live though. :)
