Depends on what you mean by having their claw "loose". If it's hanging on on the very back, where it connects to the fur and skin, then he/she could just be shedding the claw. This happens frequently, especially if the claw gets too long. If it's not doing that, then maybe you should take it to the vet for further information. It could be ingrown, which has the potential to be painful for the dog. If that's the problem, you'll have to clip it off.
If your dog keeps licking his front dew claw, that appears loose but not infected, you should take the dog to the vet. The vet can treat or remove it so that the dog does not get it caught on anything, and so it does not become infected. The vet can also bandage the paw to keep it clean.
no
To treat broken dog claws, remove the broken part. Stop the bleeding by pressing a clean paper towel or cloth the paw. Wrap the paw to help it heal. You should keep the dog calm and quiet as the claw heals so that it does not cause the dog pain.
It's called the dew claw.
The Great Pyrenees is a breed of dog that can have a fifth claw, also known as a dewclaw, on their rear legs. This claw is believed to be a remnant of their ancient ancestry and is often found in working and mountain dog breeds.
Walking or going to a dog park so he/she can cut loose and run.
You should definitely take her to a vet in case it needs to be removed and to protect her from infection.
No they should stay the same but let them run
Insulin should be injected under the skin of a dog, typically in the loose skin between the shoulder blades or on the side of the chest.
4 and then there dew claw
I think that it is dangerous, unless the dog has a supply of water. It is easy for a dog to get dehydrated. Your dog should only be let loose in the backyard, if you have a fence. You should talk to your neighbor about letting her dog out.
A dog because dogs are more loving and won't claw you. It's your choise! (I prefer a kitty, cuz you don't have to take it outside to poop or take it on walks.)
