The first sign is Diarrhea. Apart from that vomiting. At this point the dog would not be willing to eat absolutely anything solid or liquid but it is important to continue to provide water. After this stage it progressively starts getting worse. Next stage is increasing frequency of Diarrhea and raw blood is feces. At this point immediate caution should be taken and the dog should be taken to hospital or doctor care. Intravenal Saline treatment should be administered. The final stage is when the dog is unable to stand up, extreme fatigue, uneasy breathing rhythm, blood in urine which indicates failing kidneys. I must warn you this disease is extremely sad to go through for you as a owner as you are incapable to help. The mortality rate is about 90%. But if once cured it is unlikely for ever having it again. I just lost my puppy to it, trust me, it is extrmely painful to watch him suffer.
