Carrots.
Cookies and milk
In the United States, it is customary first for children to give or send a Christmas gift wishlist to Santa. On Christmas Eve, then, they often leave out cookies and milk for Santa and, in some homes, carrots for the reindeer. Similar customs exist throughout Europe, where some drink and snack is left for the jolly gift-giver.
Yes they do. Whenever Christmas comes arond, give carrots for the reindeers in a bowl beside Santa's cookies.

If he doesn't send a Christmas present to you on Christmas for a few more years, that means you are bad,he is dead, his reindeers died,or he left the north pole. Oh, or maybe you don't believe him.

Some children leave cookies beside the Christmas Tree, along with a glass of milk for Santa when he visits them on Christmas Eve. Also, a carrot is left for Santa's reindeer. On Christmas Day morning, there will only be cookie crumbs, an empty glass, and the top of the carrot left, as Santa and his reindeer will have left the presents and eaten the snacks.
