anything that has a smaller volume and area as the cage (height, lengh, width)
Cardboard that has not been painted,A log house or a house not made out of plastic.
Gerbil tubes and gerbil chew blocks.
Put them in a quiet preferably warm room. Remove any other gerbils from the cage.
only if there sisters
No, I wouldn't put them in the same cage, I don't think they would get on too well.
yes but put up a divider to eliminate competition
you can buy many kinds of bedding from pet store but if you want to make your own then you can just put some peices of tissue in there cage and they will chew it up.
Do not use saw dust use bedding like at the petco store
Yes! If they continue to fight put them in a diffrent cage for a few hours, 5 or 6, then put them together again. They will make up because they were lonely. I have 9 gerbils it works. :)
Probably not. But I read a book in my school library about gerbils and the author of it said that one of his friends put a gerbil and a mouse together in a cage and they worked out OK.
yes. so they dont fight, you need to put a divider in the middle of the cage.
It will be ok as long as you make sure that their cage isn't in direct sunlight or near a drafty area.
* Give them an adequate space to live (cage) * Give them food and water * Give them a little house/igloo/hideaway in the cage so they have a place to sleep and just chill * Put your hand in the cage and let them get used to you
If you have a healthy gerbil who lives in a clean cage/tank then you will not die if you put their head in your mouth. On the contrary it will be very unsanitary to do so considering they burrow/dig where they poop/urinate and clean themselves also gerbils are prone to mites.
