I would suggest positive reinforcement. This means when a dog does something you want it to, you give it a treat. And, if the dog does something bad all you do is say no in a stern voice. When a dog sits, say sit and give the dog a treat or praise. Do this with whichever commands you want to teach your dog. Stay takes a long time, you have to say stay, then go a little bit away(like a step) then go back and give praise and slowly get farther and farther away.
German short hair pointers mature more slowly than smaller dogs, but not as slowly as giant breeds like Great Danes and Newfoundlands. A pointer will reach his adult size and weight by the time he is about 2 years old.
Puppies open their eyes at different times. They can open their eyes anywhere from seven days to two weeks after birth. It varies depending on the breed and individual puppy.

The German Shepherd keeps young ones close by. Also the puppies stay in one place because once born the puppy is blind. Also if the puppy goes too far the mother will pick up the puppy by biting the extra skin and lifting up thr baby puppy.
Take it to the vet.
The German word for puppy is (der) Welpe.
When the dog snapped at the puppy, it showed aggression or warning towards the puppy by quickly biting or lunging at it.
Agressive behaviour, Usually biting or barking at you.
Puppy nipping is natural so there is absolutely no need to punish. Do not pinch the lips or hold the snout closed, and please do not hit your puppy. When your puppy bites, slowly remove your hand and swap it with a toy or other item that can safely be chewed. Puppies grow out of the nipping/biting stage as they get older.
Purebred German Shepherds will have pedigree papers that prove registration to the Kennel Club and means that they have atleast 3 generations of pure recorded family history. If a German Shepherd does not have pedigree papers then it is either crossbred or wasn't legible for registration as a puppy. Currently, only shorthaired German Shepherds are shown seriously, so Longhaired German Shepherds may not be Kennel Club registered but still be purebred.
To train your puppy from biting or teething on people, just rub a stick of butter on your hands. Its best to use a stick of butter, rather than regular in a tub butter. Instead of teething/biting your puppy should just lick. Enjoy training your puppy! Info from Dogs101 on Animal Planet
To stop a puppy from biting ankles, redirect their behavior by providing appropriate chew toys or engaging them in play with interactive toys. Consistently use commands like "no" or "ouch" to signal that biting is unacceptable, and then redirect their attention to a toy. Reinforce positive behavior with treats and praise when they play nicely. Additionally, ensure the puppy gets plenty of exercise to help reduce excess energy that may lead to biting.
