Any six week old puppy is too young to be away from it's mother. I needs another two weeks to be weened properly. However, if the pup has been removed and ownership transferred, provided it has been weened, it should be able to tolerate soft puppy chow or puppy chow mixed with a little cow's milk. If the puppy has not been completely weened, you will need to purchase puppy formula from a veterinarian, a pet food store, or a farm store, and bottle feed it every four to six hours, or as it demands it.

What should you feed your 3 year old poodle?

For your 3-year-old poodle, provide a balanced diet that includes high-quality commercial dog food formulated for small breeds. Look for options that list meat as the first ingredient and avoid fillers like corn and soy. You can also incorporate some fresh fruits and vegetables as treats, ensuring they are safe for dogs. Always consult your veterinarian for specific dietary recommendations based on your poodle's health and activity level.
