Hi. They do Horse shoeing and light veterinary work. If it's below a horse's ankles then a farrier can help.

In short, you drive a truck to the middle of nowhere, pull the shoes off a horse, custom fit a new shoe (using hammers, files, and an anvil), scrape the crap out of the hoof, shape and clean it (Kind of like clipping really really big toenails), and nail on the new shoes, finally you shape the new shoe to support the horse as best as possible.

They also diagnose different hoof conditions and can recommend other types of hoof treatments.
