Her name is Cinnamon, and she turned 18 on June 9, 2009. She is still running, playing and a happy healthy dog. Her only issue is that she went deaf a few years ago.
Have to disagree. Penny is our AKC registered Pom and she is 19 years old today. She's getting cataracts and is hard of hearing but her "smeller" works GREAT. She has spurts of activity and values her rest/sleep time ... she regulates her food intake as she has only a few teeth left but she prefers Old Roy soft dry dog food with a little spicing from Little Ceser's. She eats when she wants and consumes about 2 oz a day. She still loves trips in the car and travels very well. Only major item is her ... forgetfulness... when she needs to take care of business. If we're quick ... she makes it outside and barks to come in.

She had a Pomeranian named Chester. After he died, she bought a dark brown Pomeranian named Esther.
An Australian cattle dog named Bluey died aged 29.
Depends on the dog not the breed I think. The Chihuahua and Pomeranian sorta tie for first. Like I said, depends the dog. The Chihuahua could be second or the Pomeranian.
