My parents had a Bichon male and a Brindle Pit female. The male was very persistent (to say the least!) And impregnated the female pit. There was only one pup born. As a newborn, she looked like a beer can with tiny legs, she almost waddled when she walked. As she grew, her proportions became more normal. She was a bit larger than a standard Bichon, her coat was very strange; the hair was a mixture of long and short which gave her a very "scruffy" look. Her coat was also very coarse to the touch. Her coloring was a mixture of browns and tans (like her mother). Sorry, I have no pictures. Another thing to note is the problem of mating these two dogs: as you know, Bichons are very hyperactive dogs, and pitbulls are known for their aggression. This made for a horrible mix. She was so hyper and aggressive toward the other animals and could not be controlled. We eventually gave her to a young couple with no other animals and no children.
