From what I have been told as far as whitentail deer.....they bed after eating. I have been told by a wildlife bio that deer must eat every three to four hours.
bedded down, probably in weeds. when they bed down they bend their knees in and lay on their side
Yes, deer bed down most of the day, when they are in the woods, especially during hunting season, deer bed down in thick brush, it's not hard to pass right on by them never knowing they're there. They also sleep lying down. When it's really hot, deer lay in the shade and chew there cud, just taking it easy.
Deer require no shelter. Their hair is hollow and is extremely effecient at keping the deer warm and dry. I have however watched deer bed down under a pine tree or heavy bush to escape the snow and rain as well as find a lowspot in the ground to protect them from the wind. More often han not a deer will simply "lay Down"- curled in a ball and let the snow cover them. As the snow covers them it further insulates them and helps keep them warm.
You may be outdoors.

with caution, slow down. after the deer crosses, watch out for more deer.
In the brush, woods, thickets, brambles, deadfall, wherever they can bed down at night to rest but at the same time be able to keep a eye and an ear out for predators.
Yes, they will eat anything they can find and i know that they can take deer down
It starts with a motion: Up, down, up, down, up down, up up down, down down up up up up, down, down down, down and up uppity up! After several goes and a realisation of sillyness you will have jumped on a bed. NOW GET TO BED!
Deer are early risers, they are up early in the morning during the warmer parts of fall, and they will tend to bed down during the hotter parts of the day until the sunset, which is when they feed
It shouldn't if it has been ground up.
The 7mm cartridge is fine for deer, but the keep the bullet grain down using a 150grain which is better for deer.
