A penguin can swim as fast as a seal
Depends on the species but generally the mothers hide them from predators in a hole in the ice. Like a cave with the entrance below so you have to swim to get in. The seal mothers have very, very rich milk so the pups quickly build up a layer of fat to protect them from the cold. They also grow very fast because even in their ice dens they are still in danger of polar bears.
An dolphins adaptation is to swim
Try encourage them into the rapid waters forcing them to learn how to swim to survive. The mother then clings to a floating batch of seaweed and hang out there. The pups seeing this would follow. That is how otters train their pups to swim and lay on their back to float. It's all survival techiques.
A seal can swim and bark.Seal, otter, a dog, all of these both swim and bark. That would either be my Uncle Zack, or a seal.
