Since you mentioned it rather specific, "Jill" & "Hob", I'm going to answer it as if they're not neutered/spayed.It's much easier to introduce a Jill to a Hob, than another Hob.Male Ferrets are incredibly territorial, and just as anti-social, particularly when they're rutting.The Jill has better luck (although, at times, she could be pushing said 'luck'), mostly because she's a female.A Hob can and will encounter extreme, possible deadly hostility from another Hob if said ferret is in the others defined territory.
