First off, a doe will not tolerate a buck around her litter. This is because she instively knows that a buck will attack, and even kill, her kits.
is it safe keeping father with its one month old pet rabbit babies
There is a danger that the male will eat the kits, this is one good reason why the male should not be kept with the female once she is pregnant and kindling. Until the kits have been weaned and are leaving their mother the father should be kept away!
When breeding, let the male fall off of the female about 2-3 times, and take him out. If you want a larger litter, put him back in 24-48 hours later and let him fall 2 or 3 more times before taking him out again. --Newfoundland97
yes, but only because the female rabbit could become pregnant again just hours after giving birth and will not be able to look after her new baby bunnies. The male rabbits make fantastic dads so if you were to get him neutered this would be fine. and the females tend to get very violent twards the male
Nope. She'll get pregnant again and could die. selfish imo
The male guppy will probably only eat the babies within a few hours of being born. Other than that, the fry are most likely safe. Even so, you should put him in a separate tank. My friends male guppy is chasing her female because he can see the babies. Good luck!
A palindrome for "male" could be "elam," and a palindrome for "female" could be "emalf." Both are safe for kids to see and understand.
A wild doe(female rabbit) will make her nest inside a hole underground. Where her kits are warm and safe.
I have budgies But I think if you put a different male lovebird in with them he would kill the babies or eat the eggs because they wouldn't be his.I would wait until they leave the nest to be safe.
If you are talking about dwarf hamsters, make sure that the babies are aleast 5 weeks old and are running around and are big enough so that the male will not eat them. If you put the male back with the female then it is very common that they will mate again and/or fight often as they have been separated.. Make sure that the female doesnot have more than 5 litters as this is WAY TOO much STRESS for her.
Take it to a vet afterwards and talk about what to do about a safe birth. you may have hamster babies to sell or keep soon. if you didn't want this happening you shouldn't have put a male and female together
I'm not quite sure but I think it's the same with male hampsters. When a female has her litter(for hampsters) you absolutly MUST keep the male away from the litter or he will start to eat the babies. I am sure that is the same with guinea pigs. My suggestion is do that just to be safe. I'm not quite sure but I think it's the same with male hampsters.
