Arctic Fox (alopex lagopus) lives in Alaska, Northwest Territories, Alberta, Manitoba, Quebec, Russia, Asia, Iceland and Greenland. It inhabitats the northern regions, but there have been some sighting of it farther south. The Arctic fox lives at the tundra edge of the forest during the summer months. During the winter months they have been seen on the ice flows.

Its range includes Greenland, Iceland, Fennoscandia, Svalbard, Jan Mayen and other islands in the Barents Sea, northern Russia, islands in the Bering Sea, Alaska, and Canada as far south as Hudson Bay. In the late 19th century, it was introduced into the Aleutian Islands southwest of Alaska. It mostly inhabits tundra and pack ice, but is also present in boreal forests in Canada and the Kenai Peninsula in Alaska."
