Corgi puppies can be adopted from breeders, rescues, shelters, dog pounds, or pet stores that sell them. The magazine "Dog Fancy" usually has a list in the back of certified dog breeders with addresses and / or phone numbers listed. Some rescues specifically cater to certain breeds, or discarded purebreds that do not meet breed standards to perfection, and will adopt out puppies for lower prices than the typical prices of breeders.

They're an expensive and fairly high sought after breed. You might find one at an animal shelter on occasion, but it's highly unlikely, unless, say, a puppy mill gets shut down. You typically have to buy this breed of dog.
