I have one dog, its a girl and she loves to be scratched on her belly. It could be anywhere on her stomach, the middle, the sides, or everywhere! If that didn't work then try behind her ears. Place both your thumbs behind your dog's ears and rub. Another place to try is right by her tail. Dogs can never scratch that far on their body. Have you ever saw a dog roll in the grass? Most of the time its just to play around but some of the time its to try and to try and scratch a certain place. If non of these worked then scratch all over and see where your dog likes being scratched the most!
Feed it and stroke it. Cats are simple.
Put it in a nice comfy place and stroke it. If she gets scared calm her down.
The best place would be Petsmart.< Look in the newspaper those cats always turn out to be the best !
Stroke the cat with the mouse until the bar fills up. (you can stroke the back, belly and head).
Your sofa is probably the best place to find a domestic tabby cat.

Cats are not stupid and if they can find shade or a dark cool place they will. As long as they have water and a cool place they won't get heat stroke. If trapped in a hot area it can be a lengthy death depending on the age of the cat. It can take less than half an hour or take hours. Generally cats like it fairly warm, but not scorching hot.
