Frankly speaking No. There is no land animal that is big or strong enough to go head to head with an elephant. However if an elephant is very old or injured due to a fight with another elephant, lions have been known to gang up and kill them. Also, young elephants who wander away from their group are also known to have been killed by lions and sometimes even hyenas.
