Any vet I have ever spoken to has always recommended Advantage, I would trust their opinions. Frontline has caused allergic reactions and many times is ineffective against fleas.

Another Answer

Neither. They are both filled with chemical insecticides that have been suggested that they can cause liver damage in pets. Plus the FDA recently updated its regulation requirements for these types of products.

If you are worried about fleas its best to use something natural like Target Spray for fleas instead, and regular grooming with a flea comb.

Frontline for Dogs is not dangerous to cats (or Frontline for Cats to dogs). They are simply different doses of the same active ingredients (because of the species differences). Frontline for Dogs will still work on cats - but not at the same efficiency (towards the end of the month) as Frontline for Cats.
