If labs could beat German Shepherds then the military and police would be using them instead. Can you imagine a 60 lb yellow lab running down a vicious criminal on the run or intimidating Al Quaida prisoners? Give me a break. A German Shepherd would tear a lab to pieces. Their jaws are twice the size with a far greater bite force and longer grip. Their bone structure is way heavier along with their general weight.

Hmm, a lab is strong, but gs's are fast and sharp, it'd be pretty even I think

A German Shepherd is powerfully structured as a Pitbull but the Bullie has a vantage by having his lock jaw which is when they keep hold of an animals neck with ease.
