There are a few societies dedacated to saving the Harp Seals, like harpseals.org which is volentary, and it's goal is to permanantly end the annual Canadian Seal Hunt (which kills 95% of Harp Seals which are just days or weeks old) It informs you on how you can help. You can donate here. These donation help them... * Air their 30 second TV commercials. * Running print ads to promote the Canadian seafood boycott. * Displaying huge billboards on major arteries. * Running Radiocommercials. * Setting up information booths at festivals and fairs. * Printing and Distributing leaflets, flyers, and Action Cards for free to activists and many other ways you can help. http://www.hsus.org/protect_seals.html also allows you to sign a pledge, in which you put in a bit of details. http://www.ifaw.org/ifaw/general/default.aspx?oid=22126 is also a good one to go to, where you can sign a pledge and get regular updates. All have heart-breaking videos, which I'm sure would tug at any humane human's heart.
