Dog bite strength is proportional to the size of the dog. German Shepherds have an average adult weight of 60 to 90 pounds. American Bulldogs have an average adult weight of 75 to 125 pounds. Based on an average sized dog of each breed, the American Bulldog would have a stronger bite. Pit Bull Bite: 235 pounds of force
German Shepherd: 238 pounds of force
Rottweiler: 328 pounds of force
Lion: 691 pounds of force
