Definitely a police dog since police dogs are much more powerful and can even kill robbers. Although coyotes are quite powerful to kill police dogs, police dogs have better defense than coyotes.

I'd say the coyote, unless the Great Dane was raised to fight, since coyotes are used to fighting and killing, whereas most Great Dane's are house pets and know how to roll over.
