Emo,punk and gothic people think they're better than everyone else
The Puritans spoke of God as a loving God, but by their actions regarded him as much more a judgemental God
Both "judgmental" and "judgemental" are correct spellings, depending on the regional variation. In American English, "judgmental" is more commonly used, whereas in British English, "judgemental" with the extra 'e' is more prevalent.
Well i am guessing ---- the MINDS.People are always judgemental based on their experiences of "life".Well that works to most of the people but not to certain people which is totally different from "YOU".This is just an emotional answer, i think i can be more rational when out of this situation.
No, no more or less than anyone else. They just enjoy wearing black and listening to the Cure.
Gothic period refers to the movement in the Medieval ages against more standard forms of art and archirecture. There are three periods:Early English Gothic (1189 - 1272)Decorated Gothic (1272 - 1377)Perpendicular Gothic (1377 - 1547)
Why would you change what you like all because of a bet? If you like being more girly or preppy go for it. If you like being emo or goth or whatever it is just dress how you like
A "pretty" boy usually has more effeminate features, such as pretty or long hair, long eyelashes, or smooth skin. A preppy boy usually just dresses a certain way.
Usually, most people would go to Hot Topic, Rue 21, Claire's, or Limited Too.
I think that depends on what you feel is Gothic. To really understand, you must go past Dracula, and more on to Frankenstein, Vathek, Therese Raquin, and The Monk. Gothic horror, in its truest sense, is not about dressing up in black, but rather is an examination of society. For example, a slasher movie, monster movie, and such like are all about specific events that happen to a small group of people. Traditional gothic horror was more about society itself. Frankenstein was actually inspired by Mary Shelley witnessing how freed slaves were treated in Britain. The Monk applies to corrupt people in positions of power.
People didn't much like preppy things in the 70s. It took until the 80s for the whole preppy business to come crashing down upon the heads of the more interesting people in the culture, who quickly and suddenly found themselves devastated by HIV. I am sure Izod existed, it's an old brand, but nobody who was anybody--at least anybody culturally interesting--cared.
Flying buttresses were added to Gothic Cathedrals to provide more support. Gothic Cathedrals were pretty big, so the wall alone was not always enough to withstand all that pressure.
POLO! If you're the more preppy kind of dresser although it's quite expensive.
