Does it eat a lot of grass? Dogs do this as a natural way to sooth their stomach, but too much can cause excessive vomiting.

Try giving it dry foods in small amounts, perhaps two or three times a day, as large meals may cause it to be sick. Make sure the dog doesn't run around too much about a half hour before and after eating - it causes bloat, and a high body temperature may have an effect too.

#2 If the dog is vomiting alot it could be pancreatis, do not use fats or bones, if this worsens go to vet immediatly i thought is was because they were sick

Our dog had pancreatitis and we had to change her food to prescription food and she stopped. It was more than likely our fault for feading her bacon grease in her food as a remedy to her constant shedding. No other table scraps than the occasional steak piece.

There are many different causes for vomiting in dogs. The best way to determine the cause is to take your dog to the Vet so he/she can diagnose the problem and recommend the proper treatment. Trying to treat at home, without knowing the cause of the vomiting, is likely to only make matters worse.

Well all dogs don't vomit at night. But, if you are giving them large portions of food they will throw them up most likely if they are a smaller dog. my dog is a westie and we will give him food to eat on his ownand most of the time he will throw it up on the floor and sometimes if were unlucky on the bed :(. I wouldn't worry to much but if he/she is throwing up every night uncontrollably. Take it to a vet.

The first thing to check is - Have you changed his diet? Have you fed it something irregular or something he’s allergic to? I faced the same issue with my pet dog a couple of months ago, he kept on vomiting whatever I fed him. I immediately turned to my vet - he asked me not to feed any solid foods to him for at least 24 - 36 hours, instead, I fed him chicken broth, you can go for vegetable broth as well. If your dog is reluctant to have that as well or is vomiting after that too, then try some electrolyte - Gatorade, to keep him hydrated.

With that said, I will still suggest you consult a vet either offline - if you already have one or online - there are several portals that can help you with this like greatvet, goodvets, etc. You can connect with vets online and ask them suggestions for the next steps. Don’t take any chances with your dog’s health.

Mine does that kind of thing if he ate something like PLATSTIC and or something that is not supposed to be in stomach, he once thew up a full folded handkerchief if you can imagine that, wow.
