in caves
Well, it all depends if you mean that a mammal's home is primarily caves because bears hibernate in caves. so no.
Bears Hibernate in the Winter so that they dont die
they proved that bears don't hibernate
yes they do hibernate in holes and caves
The wrinkle-faced bat does not hibernate. One reason for this is that it lives throughout South America, where the climate does not get cold enough to make hibernation necessary.
The four animals that hibernate are bears, bats, frogs, and fish.Bears and bats hibernate in caves.Frogs and fish bury themselves in ponds.
Same as any bat species that uses caves as roosts. They feed outside, but find their way to and from their subterranean roosting, nursery and hibernation* spots by echo-location and memory. *I don't know if vampire bats hibernate as they are a tropical or sub-tropical species, but the rest still holds.
Not all bats hibernate but the ones who live where it gets cold usually do. This is because during the colder months food becomes almost non existent for them. Some of them will also migrate to warmer areas.
There are two species of bat that are referred to as brown bats. One is the little brown bat, or Myotis lucifugus, and the other is the big brown bat, or Eptesicus fuscus. Both types hibernate in the winter, choosing caves as a preferred location because of their stable temperature.
They hibernate but only when cold, in caves or in tunnles. It can migrate but cant go so far with its youngling. Stores food. :)
Gray bats are native to the United States. They live in caves year round, and hibernate in them during the winter.
