Bears scratch trees to mark their territory.
Give them things to scratch on like thick peaces of cardboard personally my gerbils scratch the side of the plastic bottom of the cage and that keeps their nails short bless.
Not all bears can climb trees. While some species of bears, like black bears, are skilled climbers, others, like polar bears, are not known for their tree-climbing abilities.
like all tigers do. They pee on trees and scratch on trees.
Any tree that they can climb.
On the shell- scratch it with your nails to wake him/her up. It works like a charm!
Like cats, lions also have to sharpen their nails. It's a cat thing.
Yep.
it depends what you mean by "scratch".if you mean scratch a back, then no. the first few times they do, but then it gets annoying.ifyou mean "other places",if you know what i mean, then yeeeees!
Most bears can climb trees, unless they are really big - like a full-grown adult male Grizzly...
Yes, grizzly bears can climb trees, but they are not as skilled at climbing as other bear species like black bears. Grizzly bears may climb trees to escape danger or to reach food sources, but they typically prefer to stay on the ground.
county jail looks like marshmellows and gummy bears. and prison can look like rusty nails
Not sure if that's one reason, but I do know that they use the trees like cats use scratching posts, they scratch the trees with their claws so that all they will sharpen, and therefore, be more useful.
