Like the person above said, a cat with 6 toes means they have a recessive gene that makes it called a polydactyl cat. Its just a cat with more toe's than the average cat. Calico's are just different. You can ask the same thing for humans, 'Why do some humans only have 11 pairs of ribs?'. It's just the way they are.
PS
To the person above, how did u know that recessive gene thing? Ever thought of being a doctor or a vet? I want to be a vet. That would be so awesome...
No, not all calico cats have six toes
They can, yes, but it is not a breed standard. Some cats can have a genetic deformity that sometimes makes them have six or more toes.
Yes, calico cats start out their lives as calico kittens.
Agreed that calico cats are beautiful animals and ... "beautiful" is an ADJECTIVE.
Calico cats typically have a combination of white, black, and orange fur.
No, they are not always inbreed they are like every other living cat. --- Calico cats are simply the result of a ginger or tortoiseshell cat and a black or tortoiseshell cat. The only similarities is that both cats must have some white.

No, there is no such thing as a miniature calico cat. Calico cats are not actually a breed, calico describes their color.
There is no official data as to the percentage of black cats in the world. There are millions of black cats in every country.
Calico is a coat color, not a breed. Tabby is also a coat color, not a breed.
Calico cats have a coat with three colors - white, black, and orange, while black cats have a solid black coat. Calico cats are typically female, while black cats can be male or female. Additionally, calico cats are known for their unique and colorful coat patterns, while black cats are known for their sleek and solid black appearance.
This all depends on the genes the parents, and in some cases, the grandparents carry. Please note that calico cats are NOT a separate breed - it is just a coat colour.
