They don't dance before they poop! I'm guessing you mean why do they move weirdly and walk backwards and spin around and all that before they poop. They do that so they can get into a better position to poop, or so they can find a good spot to do their buisness on.
NO.
dogs enjoy pooping chickens!
this happens in the case of all dogs....they circle around before lying this is because their ancestry evolves like that even the dingo(cousin)practises this.the dog makes the place more comfortable and soft in this manner.

Owners don't control where dogs poop!
Why do dogs circle before they lay down? Why are there spots on that counter top?
It stands for pooping in the bathroom like dogs do in the winter. : D

Around, and around, and around again! Dogs will often circle the bed or carpet two or three times before curling up and going to sleep. Are they checking for bed bugs or snakes? Not necessarily. Many times dogs are just flattening out their beds to get comfortable. Actually, this behavior is a genetic trait left over from when the dog's ancestors used to dig their own shelters. After digging, the dogs would feel comfortable in their "dens" and plop down down for some much needed shut-eye.
In the wild, a dog lives in a pack and will cover its poop. That is what a dog is doing when it kicks its legs after pooping, although it may not make as much of an effort at it when it is living with a human family. In the wild, the poop if left uncovered can lead predators to the dog.
