Deaf dogs, just like deaf humans, still have the use of their voice box and therefore will use it. When we speak, or when dogs bark, we 'hear' it internally (a bit like when you are thinking, you 'hear' your own voice in your head).
Dogs get very distracted when they hear something and they bark or run.
because its either their communicating with other dogs or they hear something interesting that they want to bark at. sometimes they think its a smuggler.
I hear that dogs don't really bark at ghosts, but at the devil. Cats are the only one who could see ghosts. A dogs hearing range stretches beyond ours, which is why we sometimes do not know why they bark.
Some Labrador dogs will bark at night if they hear noises are sense fear. However, they don't usually bark for no reason.
Depends on human hearing and dogs bark strength, but no further than a block, usually.
I was sitting by the hearth (fireplace) while listening to my grandfather tell me a story. The winter was cold and even the cat foresook his nightly prowl around the farmyard in favour of a warm place by the hearth.
their voice box never fully developes and all u hear is a bark. that's why when some babies try to talk, they just make noises
Dogs prefer higher voices ... in their own community, yips convey excitement, puppies with their high-pitched little whines are "safe" ... while lower-pitched tones (like growls) tell the listening dog to pay attention and be cautious.
yes, animals can talk. But only in their talk, dogs can talk to dogs cats can talk to cats, and so on.. when dogs bark, their talking, humans cant hear them because we dont have the same wave lengths that animals have.
because they are looking for a mate
They can smell, taste, and hear better. They can bark, walk on all fours, run and walk faster than any human if they wanted to. Dogs should get more credit then people give them. Life is ruff for dogs too. All you cat lovers out there, dogs are cool
