In depends if you mean for feeding, sleeping or hunting. They like trees with ripe fruit in them best for feeding...of course some fruit are preferred over others but this can vary from site to site and each site with chimps tends to have different kinds of trees available. In general they like drupe fruits, many fruits related to mangos and such. They like somewhat tall trees to sleep in (protection from predators) and relatively isolated trees to hunt in (fewer ways for monkeys to escape).
The habitat in a zoo looks like a bundle of trees and ropes for them to swing on and there could be some tires for them to climb on.

Spider monkeys, whether foraging for food or not, like to swing from trees and observe other animals. Young spider monkeys will play and chase each other on trees and vines. Spider monkeys spend significant time grooming each other, because their coarse hair picks up dirt, leaves, and bugs.
