Since pugs have a pushed in face, they have no cooling cavity. Pugs need to be warm in the winter and cool in the summer. So if you don't have air conditioning, in the summer, your pug will have to spend a lot of time downstairs. And if you don't have a second floor, and you have air conditioning, then that can work too. And you also need to have heating in the winter. Pugs cannot spend a lot of time outside either. And here are three facts that will really annoy you. 1, Pugs shed eccesively, 2, Pugs have snot everywhere around their face, 3, if you want to sleep with your pug, their snoring will keep you awake. Pugs snore even during the day. I wanted a pug really bad. But not until i found out all of this bad information. I hope this is helpful to you. But it doesn't mean you shouldn't get a pug.
