Can dogs damage children with asthma?

Some people could be allergic to dogs and this may trigger the onset of an asthma attack.

Can you get an asthma attack from dogs?

Yes but its pretty rare. If you feel your dog is having respiratory problems, you need to take it to the vet ASAP. It's very common for dogs to have allergies though, so this could be what's going on with your dog. You vet can do allergy tests to determine if the allergies are environmental or food allergies, and can then provide proper treatment.

Do sugar gliders cause asthma attacks?

Asthma attacks occur for different reasons in different people. For some, the trigger is animal hair, but usually that of dogs and/or cats. While any animal's fur can trigger an attack in certain asthma-prone people, the fur of native Australian animals is less likely to cause problems than that of dogs and cats.

Is a pit bull okay for kids with asthma?

Totally unsuitable dog for children. Asthma doesn't come into it. Pitbulls are powerful, aggressive and have been known to attack children and have killed young children without any apparent provocation. It is not just your kids but their friends. If these dogs are not muzzled in UK then Police will have dogs put down under dangerous dogs act. Tells you everything. NOT SUITABLE.

Is a puggle good for a person with asthma?

If they are allergic to dogs, no but if they can live with dogs that can shed, it is fine. I do not recommend it to children with asthma since puggles shed and if you don't know if they are allergic to them then they might have an asthma atack.
