If there is no water in the dish, then your puppy wants water. Ammendment: My Yorkie puppy does this too. There is water in the dish when she does it. It seems she loves to get her paws wet. We set up a small pool for her outside and she loves splashing around in it. I think the puppy just wants to play....
well my guess is they basiclly just like lick the water then they just drink it from wat they got
Dig the puppy/dog in a clean place and remember where he/she is to remember them goodbye.be sure to put something that they loved on top of the place for them to show them that you care.
A water dish should always be available where he can get it. He will drink as much as he needs depending on what he is doing. Normally a puppy of that age will need a fair amount of water. Make sure it is always full, fresh and clean.

Before a hermit crab molts it needs a salt water dish and it will eat extra food and drink extra water, then it will dig underground to molt.
Ferrets are very curious, and they love to dig, it's a natural behavior. As descendants of burrowing animals, the instinct for digging and tunneling remains strong. They love to play in shallow water and to dig in food. Use heavy crock or ceramic bowls, and set them on a large tray for easy cleanup. Some ferrets like to mix a little water in with their food (my ferret does). If the dish is light enough to be tipped, full or empty, it will be tipped. As far as a water dish goes, use a heavy crock or non-tipping bowl
A puppy should be introduced to water as you start to wean it onto solid foods.
You can feed a puppy water and maybe milk.
It's a nice omelette dish to do in the morning. It is the signature dig in Andros
Make sure the puppy has a clean dish, made of stainless steel if possible, in which you have put clean, cold, fresh water. If the dog still does not drink from the bowl, you should contact your vet because it's very unusual for a dog not to drink water. Sometimes you can make dog's water more appealing to them by adding a SMALL amount of chicken or beef broth (very small amount: there is a lot of sodium in broth, which is unhealthy for dogs). It could be the puppy just needs to "learn" that that is his water to drink.
No, you cannot boil water with dish soap. Dish soap is not a heating element and does not generate heat to boil water.
